SnackBox Hot Dogs is the creation of Jonathan Morr and Leslie Ng, seasoned hospitality professionals who teamed up in 2012 to create a unique street food experience in Times Square. The founders of SnackBox Hot Dogs have known each other for over 20 years and got together to develop this one-of-a-kind concept. Jonathan Morr is one of New York’s most dynamic restaurateurs, founder of the famed Japanese restaurant Bond Street, Republic and others. Leslie Ng is a well recognized hotel investor, with a large portfolio of hotels throughout the United States.
SnackBox Hot Dogs offers some of New York’s best street foods, specializing in New York’s best hot dogs and homemade, specialty toppings. The Original SnackBox structure was a highly designed recycled shipping container and was built in Montreal, Canada. When launched, the unique architecture of the original box won numerous design awards for its innovative approach to the delivery of food service. The new SnackBox is equally impressive, part of a mini food court on Broadway between 46th Street and 47th Street. It sits at the foot of the famous Times Square red staircase. SnackBox’s signature offering is its hot dog. The hot dogs are custom made, with all natural beef, are lightly smoked and seasoned to create a well-rounded unique flavor. Made with a natural casing, the dogs have a trademark snap that accompanies each delectable bite. The hot dogs are steamed and finished off on a high heat griddle and served on a Pepperidge Farm lobster roll bun. SnackBox also offers its unique specialty hotdogs, such as the popular Brooklyn Classic and the Time Square. |
